The following is a basic guideline on how to setup an exchange account on Android phones.
Please note: We offer this as is and cannot troubleshoot connection issues due to incompatible software.
To add an Exchange account to your android phone:
Open the application menu by pressing the up arrow.
Press the email icon near the bottom of the list.
Enter your full email address
name@company.com and account password and tap
Next.
Three options should be listed on the side:
POP3 account
IMAP account
Exchange Account
Select Exchange Account.
Enter your exchange username as whs\username
Note: This is not your email address or the part before @, we will provide the user name for you
Enter your account password (if it is not already entered)
Enter
ex.sbwh.net in the Server Name field
Do not uncheck or make sure you have checked
Use Secure Connection (SSL)
Accept All SSL Certificates
Press Done.
Configure the options you want:
Push (be cautious of potential battery drain)
Amount To Sync
Notifications
Sync Contacts
Sync Calendar
Sync Calendar Amount
Account name and display name are optional and only for outgoing mail labeling.
Press Done
