If you are having connectivity issues with Outlook or Entourage connecting to an exchange account, please view the following guides and setting changes.
For Outlook 2003 and 2007
YOU MUST CLOSE OUTLOOK TO MAKE THE CHANGES.

The changes are as follows:
For the exchange server name, change it to: ex001.webhostingprovider.com
Within the Microsoft Proxy Settings:
Click the proxy server setting button.
For the connection settings, the first URL (https) box type: ex.sbwh.net
Click the Connect using SSL only

For 2003 check Mutually authenticate the session box.

For 2007, check the "only connect to proxy servers that have this principal in their certificate"
For the principle name for the proxy server, type: msstd:ex.sbwh.net
Click both slow and fast boxes
Change the authentication box at the bottom to “NTLM Authentication”

For Microsoft Entourage for Mac

The changes are as follows:
Exchange Server is https://ex.sbwh.net/exchange/your@email.address
Note: enter your actual full email address inplace of your@email.address
- Check or leave checked "This DAV service requires a secure connection (SSL)"
- DO NOT check "Override default DAV port"
Click the Advanced tab
- In the Public Folders server: field, enter https://ex.sbwh.net/public
- Check or leave checked "This DAV service requires a secure connection (SSL)"
- Do not change any other settings
