How do I setup mail in Entourage?

Note: pop.yourdomain is the example for your email server. Place in pop.<your website name>
For example: support@sbwh.com would have a mail sever (incoming and outgoing) as pop.sbwh.com

To change an existing account:

1. From the Entourage menu, choose Account Settings.
2. Highlight your account and click on the Edit Button.

To add smtp outgoing authentication:

1. Click the Click here for advanced sending options button.
2. Check SMTP server requires authentication
3. Click use same settings as receiving mail server.

To setup a new account:

1. Open Entourage.
2. From the Entourage menu, choose Account Settings.
3. Click the Mail button and click on New button.
4. Enter your full email address in the Email address: field.
5. Click on Configure account manually.
6. Enter Your Name as you want it to appear.
7. Enter your full email address in the Email address: field.
8. Enter your full email address in the Account ID: field.
9. Enter your email password in the Password: field
10. Check Save password in Mac OS X keychain
11. Enter mail.yourdomain.com in the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP) server: field.
12. Select POP3
13. Enter mail.yourdomain.com in the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: field.
14. Click on the Right arrow to continue.
15. Click on the Right arrow to continue.
16. Enter a name for the Account Name: for entourage to display.
17. Click on the Finish button.
18. From the Entourage menu, choose Account Settings.
19. Highlight your account and click on the Edit Button.
20. Click the Click here for advanced sending options button.
21. Check SMTP server requires authentication
22. Click use same settings as receiving mail server.
23. (Optional): If your ISP blocks port 25 for outgoing mail, check Override default SMTP Port field change the port number from 25 to 2525
24. Click the close Icon
25. Click Ok
    

Your account should now be ready to use.
