Non Exchange (General) email spam filter settings

If you have an included email account with your domain hosted with sbwh, you have built in anti spam.

To access the spam quarantine folder as well as SpamShield Pro settings via options, log into your webmail interface and you will be able to control your mail's spam control from one convenient location.

To configure your anti spam settings, click on options then click on the link for SpamShield Pro

The spam settings are set by default to 2.5 which should be fine for the vast majority of mail accounts.

The settings range from 0.5 (the tightest control) to 5.0 (the least amount of filtering)

The lower the score number, the more will be caught but the higher chance of false positives.

SpamShield Pro will classify a message as spam when its SpamShield Score is greater than the selected score

To exclude an email from being marked as spam, enter it in to the approved senders list
